Martinez Canyon 1-21-06 (55 images)
Went out wheel'n with the AZ TTORA boys today. We ran a trail called Martinez Canyon. I've
been wanting to run this trail for a long time. I've been out to right before the mill before
but stopped at that point because I was by myself. Once we hit the mill, myself and two other
trucks stayed behind for a bit and explored a couple mine shafts. The first shaft was probaly
about a 45 degree verticle, with horizontal shafts branching out about every 50ft down. The
second shaft started out horizontal, and then went vertical a million different
ways. We were probably in that shaft for an hour and I don't even think we scratched the surface.
