Damn, another fantastic couple days wandering around on the motos. We ended up covering about 1000 miles. Saturday was the longest at almost 400 miles. That is a LONG time to be sitting on a sportbike. Oh, and my battery decided it no longer wanted to live like 100 miles into the trip, so there were plenty of push starts throughout the weekend. Sunday was windy as hell, especially on the Arizona Strip (Jacob Lake up to Kanab, Utah). And cruising the Kaibab Plateau (around 8500ft) after dark was not only scary (animals and blind curves) but FREEZING. Monday was pretty uneventful, just a leisurely cruise home with a detour through Sedona and Page Springs/Cornville.
