Originally this was a solo day trip to hike the Mt. Graham summit (10720 ft.), but some friends wanted to come so I turned it into an overnighter. We got up there Saturday morning and headed straight for the summit. It was 5 miles roundtrip with a 1700 ft. elevation change. This is the Graham County high point and my second out of the 15 Arizona county high points. After the hike we headed up by Riggs Lake to find a campsite. We woke up Saturday morning and headed to the lake for some fishing. We actually did pretty good for once. Tons of bites, and probably brought in 6 or 7 Rainbows before running out of worms. After that we grilled up some lunch, stuffed our faces, then headed home.
